2240 "BOSS" Valve & Variations

The B&A 'Boss" Valve System is CNC made to precision standards and provides the shooter with maximum CO2 flow. This translates into increased velocity for more effective target practice, hunting or plinking.

The "Boss" Max-Flow Bulk Fill valve is shown as a cut-away in the air tube.
Below the cut-away valve is the complete Max-Flow valve. The Max-Flow valve features Maximum CO2 flow to the projectile, an enlarged valve area to hold CO2, a .060" increase in valve stem movement to improve CO2 flow and an angled transfer port. A 2240 with a 14" barrel using the "Boss" valve can shoot a 14.3 grain .22 caliber pellet at over 600 fps.

The "Boss" 12-gram (above) CO2 valve is shown in the air tube with a CO2 cartridge. The enlarged valve area and angled transfer port greatly improve CO2 flow, thereby increasing velocity. Our test gun shot 14.3 grain pellets at around 590 fps. We got about 17 full power shots per cartridge.
The B&A "Boss" valve can be installed in the 2240, 2250 and 2260 air tubes. The longer air tubes will provide more shots per fill with the Bulk Fill valves
