Well here are some of the things I've done to my 3100.
It came to me from DZR and his member of the (period here) contest. Thanks again Hoyt!
Then I decided to make it a match style rifle, since the barrel is capable of amazing groups (even though the shooter isn't ).
Started by making an adjustable comb. To do so, I used a a band saw to cut out part of the stock.
Then I drilled holes for a couple of long bolts. Drilled out large areas to accommodate the nuts in the stock, and the head of the bolts in the comb. I used epoxy on the nuts into the stock after dry fitting of course. Then I used stainless steel tubing (bought at ACE hardware) to make the spacer. You can cut the tubing to the exact length of rise you require.
I was later informed that the same process can be done from the underside of the stock, with the nuts
epoxied into the bottom of the comb. Then you don't have bolt heads against your cheek. So I would
recommend doing that if you so require. Will look nicer too.
I also decided to try my hand at stippling (thanks Ernie and Joben). Got out the
dremmel and a round engraving bit. Went to work.
After that I added a Morgan Adjustable Pad to the gun (thanks as well Hoyt). the link to the how to of the pad fitting is here:

It turned out like this:
Better picture of the rifle w/o the Morgan Pad.
Now I am saving up for some diopter sights with rubber eye cup. That will finish the 10M match rifle look.
